About City

Abu Dhabi is located in the Southwest part of the United Arab Emirates along the southern coast of Persian Gulf. It is also the capital of United Arab Emirates. It is deeply rooted in tradition. It’s the richest of all the Emirates and holds nearly 10% of the world’s known oil supply. This country is full of archaeological evidence that is full of civilisations. Abu Dhabi worked in the pearl business and traded with others. As the pearl trade declined, interest grew in oil possibilities of the region.

Famous Attractions in Abu Dhabi include: Sheikh Zayed Mosque, Ferrari world Abu Dhabi, Qasr al-Hosn, Yas Marina Circuit, Aldar headquarters building, Dalma Mall, Emirates National Auto Museum, Formula Rossa, Capital Gate, and Khalifa Park. The city features large gardens and parks, green boulevards lining all the streets and roads, sophisticated high-rise buildings, international luxury hotel chains and opulent shopping malls. Abu Dhabi International Airport is the UAE’s second busiest airport. Abu Dhabi is a compulsive shopper’s dream. There are several malls, most of which have the same stores as other malls. Besides establishments aimed at locals, malls also include popular foreign chain stores, as well as designer places. In a bid to attract tourism and investment, land sales to foreigners were allowed and restrictions on alcohol were loosened.

Yas Island is an artificial island in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Yas Island can be reached by plane, boat or even by car. Yas Island was named as the world's leading tourism project at the World Travel Awards in November 2009. Abu Dhabi has numerous dining options and visitors are often confused by the sheer volume and diversity of choice across the emirate.
